Mission

USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety.

Job Description

  • C2C Analyst: Conducts assessment, analysis, and activities associated with the DoD C2C cybersecurity framework. Discovers, identifies, and categorizes connected devices. Interrogates endpoint for security compliance.
  • Automatically remediates deficient endpoints.
  • Authorizes compliant endpoints. Enforces policies and reports results.
  • Provides support and subject matter expertise for Network Operation infrastructure (e.g., router and switches) in support of C2C functions and capabilities, including, but not limited to, 802.1x compliance.
  • Recommends, and upon approval, maintains policies and procedures supporting C2C lifecycle and implementation.
  • Monitors and maintains support for C2C endpoint security compliance and automatic remediation of deficient endpoints, in accordance with regulations, policies, procedures, governance, and guidance.
  • Provides subject matter expertise to maintain and sustain automatic remediation, including installation, update, and compliance with USSTRATCOM Host Based Security Agents (HBSA).
  • Troubleshoots and proactively resolves technical issues related to C2C automation, integration, and interoperability with automation platforms supporting C2C.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : BA/BS or equivalent, 8+ years of experience

CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Required GFACT or GISF or Cloud+ or GCED or PenTest+ or Security+ or GSEC
  • Desired: ITIL 4 Foundation: GIAC Certified Vulnerability Assessor (GCVA); or CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+); or GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH); or MITRE ATT&CK Defender (MAD); or GIAC Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst (GCTI)

Location: Onsite - Offutt AFB, Nebraska - Relocation may be available

Clearance : Must be willing to obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility

The likely salary range for this position is $125,528 - $169,832. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
