Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Databricks Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Databricks architecture and be proficient in Python, SQL, and Apache Spark. This role involves working with Delta tables, Delta live tables, and workflows, as well as scheduling and building DAGs in AirFlow.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Databricks workflows, Delta tables, and Delta live tables.
Schedule and build Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAGs) in AirFlow.
Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to design and implement data solutions.
Optimize and troubleshoot Databricks environments for performance and scalability.
Ensure data quality and integrity across various data sources.
Stay updated with the latest developments in Databricks and related technologies.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of Databricks architecture, including Delta tables and workflows.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Apache Spark.
Familiarity with dbt (training can be provided if needed).
Experience with scheduling and building DAGs in AirFlow.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Previous experience in a similar role.
