WHAT YOU'LL DO As part of the Engineering Department theDesign / Manufacturing Engineering Internwill participate as a valuable member of Epic Aircraft's Engineering team. This is a full-time, paid summer internship available to students currently enrolled in an applicable Engineering or Aerospace program. The intern will gain real world experience doing a variety of tasks related toEpic E1000GXAircraft. Participate as a multidisciplinary Engineering team member Assist Engineers and other team members with the design, development, and testing of aircraft parts, materials, and components Assist with writing reports documenting activities and analyses Assist in the test analysis and other test-related tasks including test set-up and coordination WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM Junior or Senior Level College Student working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in anEngineering Specialty of Aerospace, Design, Mechanical, Manufacturing or closely related discipline Aviation/composite material experience desired Strong Solidworks skills Basic engineering analysis experience Able to read and create drawings Strong mechanical design aptitude and capability Good mechanical background and understanding Ability to follow prescribed processes, specifications, and guidelines Work well independently and in a team witha positive attitude & professional presence Fundamental understanding of basic engineering principles Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, high level of accuracy, and attention to detail.
