Job Description

All Care and Comcare Home Health is currently seeking a qualified full-time office-based Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dedicated healthcare team. Position Overview:

We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be flexible, independent, and passionate about home health care. This role involves traveling to patients' homes and requires the ability to manage a dynamic schedule with occasional same-day visits.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled physical therapy treatments to home health patients under the direction of licensed Physical Therapists
  • Implement treatment plans designed by supervising PTs
  • Work independently in the field with minimal direct supervision
  • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in accordance with Medicare guidelines and company policies
  • Adapt to changing schedules and accept same-day appointments when needed
  • Travel to patient homes throughout our service areas
  • Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team
  • Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition to the supervising PT

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program
  • The current state PTA license is in good standing
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Home health experience preferred 
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Comfort with working independently in the field
  • Ability to adapt to schedule changes and accommodate same-day visits
