Job Title: Program Quality Engineer Pay Rate: $40.00-45.00/hour Location: Windsor, CT 06095 (hybrid schedule) Area Code: 860, 413, 203 Shifts: 1st #QualityEngineering #Aerospacejobs #controlsystems Job Summary Belcan is seeking a Program Quality Engineer to serve as the primary Quality representative for our customer. In this role, you will develop and manage quality improvement plans, monitor customer satisfaction metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, manufacturing sites, and suppliers to drive continuous quality improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the main liaison for customer quality activities, including reviews, audits, and senior-level presentations.
• Facilitate preventive and corrective action processes across internal teams (Design, Operations, and Supply Chain).
• Manage customer issues promptly to support business unit objectives.
• Lead critical issue resolution activities, including 8D root cause investigations for product failures.
• Use customer and internal quality metrics to develop and implement targeted improvement initiatives.
• Champion quality initiatives, including the Zero-Defect Plan (ZDP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
• Identify and implement process and product improvements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Drive improvements in first pass yield and develop solutions impacting program quality performance.

Core Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
• Background in Quality, Engineering, or Operations, preferably within the Aerospace industry.
• Project management experience, with proven ability to drive cross-functional initiatives.
• Proficiency with SAP and/or other ERP systems.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to the nature of the work.
• Ability to work remotely, with occasional travel or on-site support preferred near Windsor Locks, CT.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in implementing quality improvement initiatives in manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with quality standards: AS9100 and ISO 9001.
• Experience leading corrective action activities and root cause analysis using 8D methodology.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., v-lookups, pivot tables) and Microsoft Office tools.
