Job Description

We are a rapidly growing, Boston-based medical technology company using AI to enable clinicians to make informed decisions on cardiovascular care - leading to better patient outcomes, improved quality of care, and reduced healthcare costs. Come work at Elucid and be part of delivering on our mission to prevent heart attacks and strokes!

The product team at Elucid excels at balancing technical constraints and business goals to deliver customer-centric and compliant products that advance cardiovascular care. As a Product Owner at Elucid, you'll clarify product vision and drive development priorities within our agile teams, steering initiatives from initial concept through successful launch. Your technical background in medical imaging and ability to build strong cross-functional relationship will enable you to collaborate with engineers to scope features and partner across sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure everything we build delivers real value to physicians and their patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate product requirements into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria that guide engineering in implementing features. Develop clear and comprehensive requirement documents which outline functional and non-functional specifications.
  • Lead sprint planning sessions and manage the execution of development sprints, ensuring that the team remains focused on and is enabled to deliver high-priority features and enhancements.
  • Facilitate dialogue, including interviews and workshops, with clinical experts, engineers, regulatory teams, and other stakeholders to gather, prioritize, and refine product requirements, ensuring alignment between technical feasibility, business value, and user needs while facilitating iterative development.
  • Establish and maintain traceability matrices to ensure requirements are addressed in the development lifecycle and that any changes are documented and communicated effectively.
  • Ensure that all requirements meet applicable regulatory standards for software-as-a-medical-device, incorporating necessary compliance considerations from the outset.
  • Regularly review and update product backlog to ensure it is well-organized, prioritized and aligned with the evolving needs of the business and stakeholders.
Education and Qualifications:
  • Experience managing software development projects with a strong understanding of modern, agile methodologies in development and deployment.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, preferably working with MedTech and Medical Imaging. AI/ML products experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to condense highly complex technical topics into concise, clear direction in both written and verbal communications.
  • Analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment, and comfortability with changing priorities and ambiguity.
Work Location
  • This is a role based out of our office in Boston, MA. Our team is hybrid and has a preference for local candidates or those located in eastern time zones in the continental U.S.
Travel Requirements
  • Occasional travel may be required.

----------------------------------------------------

At Elucid, we believe the best work happens in a flexible hybrid environment. Boston-area employees are encouraged to work from the office on Mondays and Wednesdays, with the option to come in additional days if they prefer. Fully remote employees outside the Boston area come in as needed.

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at Elucid. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability.

We understand that self-doubt can sometimes prevent great candidates from applying. If you believe you can make an impact at Elucid, even if you don’t meet every qualification, we encourage you to apply!
