We’re currently seeking a skilled Production Artist with demonstrated experience and technical expertise in delivering high quality, press-ready files. The ideal candidate has a meticulous eye for detail and excels at working in a high volume, fast-paced agency environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute creative concepts across all direct response media channels
• Develop and prepare accurate press-ready mechanical files according to production specifications, manufacturing and postal requirements
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand campaign requirements and ensure technical specifications are met
• Translate designs across various formats and versions while maintaining the integrity of approved creative and brand standards
• Adhere to project timelines and manage a high volume of projects
• Maintain accurate, organized files according to department procedures
• Perform prepress duties including retouching, color correction, preflighting, archiving and create mock-ups

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
• 5+ years of agency experience in file preparation, direct mail print production and quality assurance
• Proficiency in the latest version of Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat and Illustrator
• Strong knowledge of design, layout and typography, and meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
• Excels in prioritizing and managing a high volume of projects
• Experience working in GMC Inspire ― variable data printing a plus

For New York, the expected salary for this position is between $60,000 and $70,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law.
