Senior QA Engineer – Functional Testing

Our Platform Engineering Team is working to solve the Multiplicity Problem. We are trusted by some of the most reputable and established FinTech Firms. Recently, our team has spearheaded the Conversion & Go Live of apps which support the backbone of the Financial Trading Industry.

As a Quality Engineer, you will:
- Analyze business and technical requirements to create test plans, test cases, and automation scripts
- Develop and maintain automated tests using Cucumber (BDD) and Selenium WebDriver
- Execute manual and automated functional, regression, and smoke tests across web-based platforms
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA team members in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Log defects and track them to closure using JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
- Ensure that automation is integrated with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Maintain test documentation and report on quality metrics and test coverage
- Support UAT and assist with production validation

Requirements:

Qualification & Education:
- 6 years of experience in Functional Testing
- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber (Gherkin syntax)
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC, with experience in both manual and automated testing
- Hands-on experience with Java or Python (or another scripting language used with Selenium)
- Familiarity with test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or Maven
- Experience using test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., TestRail, JIRA, Zephyr)
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JSON, REST APIs, and SQL

Testing Tools:
- Automation Frameworks: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright
- TDM Tools: Delphix, IBM Optim, Informatica TDM
- CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps
- Cloud & Containerization: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
- Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB

Additional Experience:
- Work closely with Test Data Management, Test Automation frameworks, NFR Testing, Test Methodologies
