As a **Senior Solution Engineer** , you will also have the opportunity to influence product direction, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and be at the forefront of Oracle's innovation in the hospitality sector. **Responsibilities:** + Develop deep expertise in **OPERA** and **Simphony** and leverage this knowledge to deliver impactful demonstrations of Oracle Hospitality solutions. + Drive the sales process by prioritizing and managing opportunities in close collaboration with the sales team. + Effectively communicate the benefits of Oracle Hospitality applications to a wide range of stakeholders, including line-of-business end users, managers, and C-level executives. + Utilize exceptional interpersonal skills-storytelling, needs analysis, value positioning, business justification, and closing techniques-to influence key decision-makers and close sales. + Collaborate with multi-functional departments to gather insights, provide product recommendations, and identify enhancement opportunities for prospects. + Educate internal and external customers on Oracle products and applications through engaging presentations and demonstrations. **Skills and Qualifications:** + **5+ years** of experience in the hospitality industry required. Experience in **casino** , **cruise** , **hotel** , and/or **food & beverage** sectors is a huge plus! + **5+ years** of sales experience preferred, with experience in working with vendors or existing customers also highly desirable. + **3+ years** of hands-on experience with **OPERA** and/or **Simphony** applications preferred. + Strong understanding of system and application design, with the ability to solve complex technical problems in challenging environments. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including needs analysis, business justification, value positioning, and closing techniques. + Ability to travel via car, train, and plane to meet client needs. + A **BS degree** or equivalent experience is required. **Why Oracle?** Oracle is at the forefront of digital transformation in the hospitality industry, and this role offers the chance to work with a global leader in technology. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35 - 80/20. Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
